Fishing Seasons and Bag Limits

Fishing dates and bag limits are subject to change by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Rock Fish and Lingcod

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 4 Rock Fish, 3 Lingcod

Off Shore Rock Fish and Lingcod

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 4 Rock Fish, 3 Lingcod

Off Shore Long Leader Rock Fish

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 10 Rock Fish, sub-bag limit of 2 Canary. No Lingcod retention

Halibut

  • *2026* ODFW recommendations announced, pending final vote
  • May 1-October 31 or until quota
  • 7 days a week
  • 2 Halibut limit
  • Many additional species can be kept if caught: Rockfish, lingcod, petrale sole, black cod, etc.

Coho Salmon

  • 2026 dates should be announced by mid-April
  • Selective Coho Season: Typically late June-August
  • 2 fin-clipped Coho salmon
  • Non-Selective Coho Season: Typically September 1-15 or until quota
  • 2 Coho salmon (including natives)

Flat Fish

  • Trips available June-September, best in calm weather
  • 25 Flat Fish limit
  • Flat fish targets Sanddabs and Petrale Sole, and sometimes we get lucky with Pacific Halibut
  • Albacore Tuna

    • Variable, no fixed dates. Typically July through September when schools are within 50 miles
    • 25 Albacore Tuna

    Ocean Crabbing

    • December 1-October 15
    • 12 male Dungeness Crab over 5 3/4 inches
