Fishing Seasons and Bag Limits

Fishing dates and bag limits are subject to change by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Rock Fish and Lingcod

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 4 Rock Fish, 2 Lingcod (eff. 7/1/25 returns to 5 Rock Fish, 2 Lingcod)

Off Shore Rock Fish and Lingcod

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 4 Rock Fish, 2 Lingcod (eff. 7/1/25 returns to 5 Rock Fish, 2 Lingcod)

Off Shore Long Leader Rock Fish

  • Year-Round Fishing
  • 10 Rock Fish, sub-bag limit of 1 Canary. No Lingcod retention

Halibut

  • *2025* ODFW recommendations should be announced by Feb. 13
  • Expected Spring season: 7 Days/Week beginning in May through June 30.
  • Additional Summer season expected Aug. 1 – Sept. 30
  • 2 Halibut expected

Coho Salmon

  • 2025 dates should be announced by mid-March
  • Selective Coho Season: Typically late June-August (exact dates out April)
  • 2 fin-clipped coho salmon
  • Non-Selective Coho Season: Typically September 1-15 or until quota
  • 2 coho salmon (including natives)

Tuna

  • Variable, no fixed dates. Typically July through September when schools are within 50 miles
  • 25 Albacore Tuna

Ocean Crabbing

  • December 1-October 15
  • 12 male Dungeness Crab over 5 3/4 inches
