Catch Lingcod in Oregon While Bottom Fishing!

Every fish has it’s flavor-able characteristic and Oregon’s bottom fish are no exception. Some also call it “rock fishing”. This trip is near shore and uses light tackle. This is a great trip for anyone new to fishing and for those who have fished their whole lives. With Yaquina Bay Charters, we’ll take you to some of the best near shore reefs where you’ll find a variety of fish including sea bass, sea trout, cabazon and the much sought after lingcod. If you want to really round it off, add dungeness crabbing to your trip.

*** Bottom fish are great for fish and chips, sautĂŠed, baked, barbequed, or added to a Ciopinno. Mild in flavor, rock fish are a welcome meal for even novice seafood eaters.
