Preliminary Halibut Dates Open Now

After the Central Coast Sub-Area ODFW Halibut meeting this evening, we feel pretty confident the Spring All Depth season will be 7 days/week starting in May and lasting through June, potentially into July. Summer will open August 1, and likely also be open everyday. It appears most are in favor of maintaining the 2 fish limit and we have the quota to support it.

Until the official ODFW recommendations are out later this week, we have opened up every Friday and Saturday after the first weekend of May as a starting point for anyone interested in reserving one of those dates ASAP. More dates will be added to the calendar when the seasons are made official and by request. As always, please call if you don’t see the date you want available yet – we can open new dates as interest dictates.

The full day offshore halibut trip price remains the same as last year, $350 per person, and includes crabbing as long as weather permits. A $100 deposit is required to book if reserving over the phone, and that deposit is not refundable if the seats are cancelled within 2 weeks of the trip date. Booking online requires full pre-payment and is subject to a booking fee for the online processor. We are open 7:30 am-5 pm at this time to take reservations over the phone.
