ODFW Free Fishing Weekend Nov. 29-30

Coming up the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving is another Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) Free Fishing weekend!

On Free Fishing Weekends, you don’t need a license to fish, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon. That’s no license, no combined angling tag, no endorsement needed. While there’s no need for a license, all current regulations and closures still apply. Get out and enjoy your local waterways or come visit us on the Oregon Coast to take advantage of the fee-free days, and consider inviting a friend or family member to introduce them to fishing, clamming, or crabbing!

Yaquina Bay Charters has room available on Half Day Rockfish & Lingcod trips for Nov. 29-30, weather depending. Be sure to reserve your spot!

Want to stick to the bay? Self-guided crabbing boat rentals and crab ring rentals are available at Newport Marina Store through the weekend.
