ODFW Free Fishing Weekend Feb. 17-18
This coming weekend, Feb. 18-19 (Saturday & Sunday) is the first of three Free Fishing Weekends in Oregon for 2024. On Free Fishing Weekends, you don’t need a license to fish, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon. That’s no license, no tag, no endorsement needed. Book your Half Day Rockfish & Lingcod trip for Saturday or Sunday this week and you won’t need a fishing license, or visit us in the Newport Marina Store to rent a crab ring or clam gun and go harvest your limits of shellfish license-free!
This year’s Free Fishing Weekends are set for the following:
Feb. 17-18 (Saturday & Sunday), President’s Day Weekend
June 1-2 (Saturday & Sunday)
Nov. 29-30 (Friday & Saturday), Thanksgiving Weekend
