2025 Reservations & Seasons
It’s about that time we start getting a lot of inquiries about Halibut and Salmon seasons for the upcoming year and how to make advance reservations.
For rockfish and lingcod, the season is open year-round and half day trips are currently available for booking online through 2025. Full Day Offshore or Long Leader Trips are in season and available to schedule by request by calling the office.
Halibut and Salmon seasons, quotas, and bag limits are set by Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW). Halibut staff recommendations are released by mid-February and Salmon in March. Once the staff recommendations come out, we post the dates here on the website and open up trips on the booking calendar. Please watch this site, Facebook page, the calendar, or give us a call in February or March to get the dates and make reservations.
The regulations for rockfish have changed a bit for 2025. The most notable change includes a reduction of the rockfish bag limit from 5 to 4 beginning Jan. 1. Lingcod remains at 2 per day over 22 inches. The rockfish limit will increase back to 5 effective July 1. ODFW also imposed a rock fish sub-bag limit of 1 canary, which will be most felt on deep water rockfish and long leader trips. Yelloweye and Quillback remain prohibited and Cabezon closes Jan. 1 to June 30. You can read more about the regulations on the ODFW site and print a copy of the 2025 “What Can I Keep” PDF.
We have a new trip or two in the works for 2025, so stay tuned!
