Our Newport, Oregon Fishing Charters

Full Day Offshore Rockfish & Lingcod Fishing Charter From $210

Go bottom fish off the coast of Newport, Oregon! With Yaquina Bay Charters, we’ll take you to some of the best offshore underwater reefs and ground structures where you’ll find Sea Bass, Sea Trout, Cabezon, Kelp Greenling, and the much sought after Lingcod. This trip is in deep water approximately 10-15 miles from shore. Many anglers prefer to take this trip in the late spring through summer and into fall when the deep water holds the best chance for snagging the prized Lingcod. The standard rockfish bag limit applies: 2025 Jan 1-June 30: 4 rockfish and 2 lingcod. July 1-Dec 31: 5 rockfish and 2 lingcod.

Full Day Long Leader Rock Fish Charter From $210

The long leader fishery was developed as an option to fish for species of rockfish that we don’t normally access on traditional bottom fishing trips. This style of fishing requires a 30 ft. leader with a non-compressible float. We target shelf rockfish species including Yellow Tail, Widow Rock Fish, Canary, Bocaccio and Silver Grey’s and more. The bag limit is 10 rockfish per person. No lingcod can be retained on this trip.

Our 12 hour trips travel up to 50 miles and the Rippin’ Lips II is a six pack boat that fishes a maximum of 5 to have enough room for an ample catch, ice, gear, and a premium experience.

Offshore Black Cod Fishing Adventure From $350

Embark on an exciting 12-hour deep-sea fishing adventure targeting the esteemed black cod, also known as sablefish. Guests Love Fishing With Yaquina Bay Charters!

Great Day with Capt Jack on the Cracker Jack

Great trip with my sons and son-in-law on the "Cracker Jack" with Captain Jack and First Mate Dylan. Caught our Rockfish limit within 1 1/2 hours of leaving the dock. Had to throw several more back after we switched to lingcod. Added on a couple of lingcod for a very nice day of fishing. Helped that it was a very calm day.

I booked a half day of bottom fishing and crab for a group of 5. Captain Shannon and Deckhand Shawn on the Gracie K were exceptional hosts. Not only did we find fish almost every group on the boat limited out. It was a great day and great experience for everyone! I will definitely be booking another trip soon!

Crabbing At Its Best

Captain Mark and Deckhand Jerald on the Spindrift knew where to go to find the Crabs. They made it a lot of fun for the entire family. We will definitely return for another trip.

Best Charter Company

By far the best company to fish with. All 3 crews work hard to get you on the fish. They supply all gear and are ok with you bringing your own. Fish on!
