It’s About ‘BUT Time!

Halibut opens up tomorrow, but unfortunately mother nature decided to rain on the opening day parade! We’ve cancelled our opening trip due to a very poor forecast – but this is fairly typical of the May fishing season with the weather being tempermental. Last year we only had two cancelled days, so someone do a little weather dance for us so we can get out Friday and Saturday after those big ‘buts! Next week we have a couples spots left on Thursday the 17th and 1 spot left on Saturday the 19th. Because of several cancellations we have room on May 10th and 11th for halibut fisherman. This is the first weekend of the all depth halibut season. Fishing should be excellent. Great Tuna Day!!

Hey folks, just wanted to share the good news that the Tuna are really showing up again FINALLY! Thursday night the Gracie K brought back 65 for 9 anglers from around 45 miles out. The Crackerjack and Gracie K are both out today with max loads of 10 and hoping for similar results!
