Salmon/Bottom Update

Yesterday was the Coho Salmon opener for the Central Oregon coast and our Gracie K went out on a Salmon/Bottom combo while Crackerjack was just on bottom fishing. The Salmon bite was good, but there weren’t any keepers on the Gracie K before they changed over to bottom fishing. Halibut & Cabezon Pics from this weekend

Had a nice weekend with the exception of a busted fuel pump on the Gracie K on Saturday (minor fix, back up and running today). We landed three Halibut over 60lbs on Saturday and three fatty Cabbies over 12 lbs(Cabezon) on a bottom fishing trip Sunday. Saturday Trip 5/7

The Crackerjack went out on an inshore Halibut trip Saturday as the Gracie K was tied up for an engine repair. The 10 hour trip didn’t get any Halibut because the drift just wasn’t cooperating, but Capt. Jack did bring back tons of big rockfish and a couple awesome lingcod.
