First I have to say I’m very sorry I have misplaced my camera cord and will have to post the pictures from this weekend later – but I do have an update on how the opener went!
We weren’t able to get out there on Thursday and Friday because of high winds and some big surf, but both boths made it out with full loads on Saturday. Though the bite was a little slow, both boats made it back with limits for all plus crew fish. No huge ‘buts this weekend, but several good ones in the 40′s. Not too shabby when less than 20% of the folks on board had ever been halibut fishing before!
THIS SATURDAY May 19th we have 2 spots available together on one boat due to a cancelation. Boats leave at 6am, check in is at 5:30. Boats will return by 6pm or when ...

Halibut opens up tomorrow, but unfortunately mother nature decided to rain on the opening day parade! We’ve cancelled our opening trip due to a very poor forecast – but this is fairly typical of the May fishing season with the weather being tempermental. Last year we only had two cancelled days, so someone do a little weather dance for us so we can get out Friday and Saturday after those big ‘buts!
Next week we have a couples spots left on Thursday the 17th and 1 spot left on Saturday the 19th. Give us a call at the office if you’re wife (or husband) would love some fresh Halibut steaks for dinner! 541-265-6800

Hey friends! We’ve had a cancellation today for four spots on Saturday, May 19 for the all-depth Halibut second weekend. If you’ve been procrastinating on booking your trip this is a great opportunity to get some friends together for halibut, because we don’t have this many spots together on one boat on a Saturday very often! Give us a call to reserve them before they’re gone again! 541-265-6800
Please note: We are taking 50% deposits on Halibut trips this year and they are subject to a two week cancellation notice. Please be sure everyone in your party is aware of this if you are booking together. Thank you!
