September 8, 2020 – ACTION NOTICE – Recreational Ocean Salmon: The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) in consultation with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, members of the Salmon Technical Team, members of the Salmon Advisory Subpanel, and the Pacific Fishery Management Council, has taken the following in-season action with respect to the recreational salmon fishery in the area from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mt.: ACTION TAKEN: The recreational non-selective Coho Salmon season from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mt. is now closed to retention of Coho Salmon for the remainder of the year. Salmon Update 7/23

SALMON UPDATE 7/23 Coho salmon fishing is still going strong. We’ve seen a lot of action most days. Anglers are bringing in quite a lot of fish. With the limit to only fin clipped coho we aren’t seeing limits coming home everyday, but the fishing is still a lot of fun. Chinook salmon is also open now. We’ve seen a few on the boats. We have room on Thursday( 7/26) and Friday( 7/27) this week for a full day salmon trip. These trips are 8 to 9 hours long and $130 for adults and half price for anyone 12 and under. Coho Salmon Update

Although the salmon season had a slow opener the fishing has picked up a lot in the last couple of days. The Gracie K has been catching a lot of fish. Yesterday, 12 customers brought in 19 salmon and lost another 14. They were able to keep 2. This was on a 10 hour combination trip with rock fish. Rock Fish were plentiful and lingcod fishing was good as well. Salmon trips are still available through September 3rd. 2018 Salmon!

The 2018 coho salmon season will run from June 30th through September 3rd. The Non-Selective season that will allow you to keep both fin clipped and native coho salmon will open up on September 7th. We run half day 6-7 hour trips and full day 8-9 hour trips. We also offer a 10 hour salmon and rock fish combo trip. Prices are listed below.
