Lights out salmon fishing on 9/8

The Crackerjack took 12 people out on Saturday for a banner salmon fishing trip.  The fish were close by and we ended up with 26 coho salmon and 2 chinook salmon.  Even the crew got to catch some fish.  The fishe were 10-15 pounds with a couple around 16-18 pounds.  The best part is we were done early.  We should hear by Tuesday, 9-11 if next Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be open again for coho. … Read entire article »

Trip Schedule 8/20 – 8/27 & Tuna Dates

This week tuna has continued to do well, our boats brought back 47 and 44 on Thursday which was the last day we were on tuna. Bottom fishing has lagged a bit this week, but is improving. Salmon is still fairly slow trying to find the fish when they keep moving around so much and crabbing is still very good! Here’s the schedule of open trips for the next week: Monday 8/20 – 1/2 day Rockfish/crab & 1/2 day Salmon/crab Tuesday 8/21 – 8 Hour Salmon/crab Wednesday 8/22 – 1/2 day Rockfish/crab Thursday 8/23 – Tuna (7 spots) & 1/2 Rockfish/crab & afternoon Whale … Read entire article »
