FISHING UPDATE 7/13

ROCK FISH

Rock fish has been great lately! We have seen limits most days. We are seeing some Lingcod being caught and you can still keep 1 Cabezon. Long Leader rock fish trips have been fantastic. We’ve been limiting 10 fish per person on these trips.

Salmon

Salmon fishing has stayed strong since the opening weekend. We’ve been catching a LOT of fish. We’ve seen a lot of days with limits. It’s a great time to book your trip.

Off Shore Halibut

We still have a couple of off shore weekends coming up. July 17, 18, 19 is the next opener. We’ve been doing really well this off shore halibut season. These trips include crabbing.

Near Shore Halibut

We’ve been seeing typical numbers for near shore halibut trips. Average is 1 to 3 or 4 for the boat.

Crab

Crabbing has been good lately. We’ve been averaging 4 to 8 per person. We offer afternoon crab trips in the bay and ocean. You can also add crabbing to fishing trips.

Tuna

No tuna yet! We’ll be posting more when they start coming closer. Right now they are still far out of range.
