FISHING UPDATE

Now that August is here we want to update you with what fishing we have available for the next couple of months. Nearshore halibut has closed as of July 30th. The quota has been reached for the Central Oregon Coast. The Coho salmon season closed on Monday and will open up again starting on September 2nd. The tuna fish have been in and out of range through out July. We expect them to be in range through the month of September. Currently we are fishing for rock fish, crab and tuna (when they are in range). We have seen excellent fish counts for rock fish and crab in the last month. Bay crabbing is also very good right now. Tuna counts have ranged from 6 to 14 per boat in the first three trips we’ve taken this summer.

* We offer half day rock fishing trips with the option to add on crabing. These trips are offered at 7am and 1pm.
* Our ocean crabbing and whale watching trip is 3 hours starting at 2pm and returning at 5pm.
*Afternoon bay crabbing trips are available in the afternoon. These are 3 hours and are offered as a private boat option.
* You can book for you salmon trips in September now. We offer 1/2 day and full day trips.
