Weekend bottom fishing trips

We will be going on 1/2 day bottom fishing trips both Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6, this weekend.

Last weekeds trips provided limits on both Saturday and Sunday.  11 people each day caught all their rockfish and 11 keeper lingcod each day.

This weekends forecast is for nice oceans.

See you on the water!

Wondering about your availabilty for 28 May to 30 May. What opportunities may be available, species and etc., especially whether salmon and halibut might be biting.

  2. Lauren says:

Hi Scott, for the 28th-30th of May bottom fishing will be the most available option. The all-depth halibut season will not re-open until the 31st – June 2nd, but the inshore halibut season will be open. However, we do need a minimum number of people to take out an inshore halibut trip, and those are sometimes difficult to arrange on weekdays this time of year. The chinook salmon season is also open this month, and so far the catch results have been much better than in previous years. It does also have a minimum number we’d need to get out there though, so depending on the size of your group we could be able to make it work.
