Time flies when we’re having fun…

The bottom fish were coming in the boat steady and then slowed down a little toward the end leaving a few folks just a couple fish shy of limits, but otherwise fishing was good and we had another day with a great variety of fish coming in.

The salmon trip as usual caught a lot of natives that had to be released, but was able to snag several fin clipped coho and was just 4 fish shy of limits for the Sea Quell. At this point we are still recommending the 8 hour salmon as the best chance to limit out.

july-089 Tuna fishing was good again yesterday with the fish still about 50 miles with a few inside 45. The load of 9 was able to reel in 43 tuna for an average catch of 4.67 tuna per person or about 19 loins of fish. Monday and Wednesday are showing us good signs for this weekend when we have 3 back to back quests for tuna! We also might get a little bit of south wind today and tomorrow to help push those longfins closer in! Monday still has room left, and as usual we put a max of 10 tuna fisherman on our 43ft Crackerjack that is certified for 35 passengers.

We have a Bottom/Salmon Combo and a 5 hour Bottom out today. We’re all booked up for this weekend except for 3 spots left on an 8 hour Salmon on Saturday.
