Fishing Lately…

july-055Fishing has been fairly decent this week, but not the best. Lots of bottom fishing and salmon trips. Salmon was pretty hot beginning and middle of the week and then slowed down quite a bit as per its usual routine this year. If it follows the pattern we should see it pick up again within a few days.

As you’ve seen crabbing has been doing extremely well in the ocean! We were blown away by our catches for three consecutive days. Crabbing in the bay, however, as we learned on Thursday is not quite as good.

The tuna are finally back within range, so we’re going out for the long fins tomorrow for the first time in a couple weeks and hoping for good results! We have another trip lined up on Wednesday with a couple spots left if you’re lookin’ to get out with us! I’ll try to post a report on tomorrow’s results late tomorrow night or early in the morning tuesday.

Have a great Sunday everyone!
