Bestfishingplaces.com has decided to hold their 2010 Fishing classic in Newport Oregon. The 2009 tournament is scheduled out of San Diego and will have more then 20 participants for the 3/4 day event around the Coronado Islands.

Well ODFW couldn’t make up their minds for a while, but we’re sure happy they did and found in our favor! The non-selective salmon season is now September 1-10 ALL DAYS, not just Thurs-Sat like it was before, AND we now have a quota of 5,600 fish instead of 3,000...
